Going mobile

May 2, 2005

Cell Phone GoodnessWe had been using one of my folks’ cell phone, but the contract expired yesterday, so Steph and I went out yesterday to the ol’ Vancouver Mall and picked up a cell phone of our own.  We got the smallest possible plan with T-mobile, for emergencies and the upcoming "I think it’s time to go to the hospital" call in June, should a phone call be necessary.

So far so good.  Phone reception seems good, we scored the phone for free, and hey, it’s got a chess game on it.  What more could somebody want?

Beware: You get what you pay for with T-Mobile. I hope your experience is WAY better than mine—> http://linhart.blogspot.com/2005/02/what.html

D’oh! What a bummer situation. Glad you were able to switch. I wanted to go with Verizon, but they didn’t have any plans cheaper than 40 bucks/month, and I just couldn’t see paying that much for something we wouldn’t use that much.
