    Oh, if you read blogs (not mainstream media) of what’s going on in Iraq, you get a little bit different picture of the whole thing.

    True, Kinsanth, but remember: blogs might give a different picture, but that’s not always the best picture available. I read about 15 blogs regularly, and I still don’t know what’s going on in the States. I know about Harry Potter, weathermen, TV shows, and the occasional personal story, but beyond that…nothing.

    Michael Yon’s blog does a pretty good job of giving a completely different picture of Iraq, while most of the mil-blogs I’ve read…well, it’s like someone discovered sarcasm for the first time, and is bent on using it. Just tell a story.
