After one week

January 9, 2006

Slothboy is in first.  Apparently the name of the game is buy Google early.  Lots of Google.

Rankings as of this morning before the market opened:

  1. Slothboy – $799,013.37 – 1,000 shares of Google bought the first day
  2. Greg – $789, 136.51 – 991 shares of Google purchased throughout the week
  3. Hutch – $781,734.84 – 300 shares of Google purchased throughout the week
  4. Jed – $779,059.12 – 1,000 shares of Google (mostly purchased at the end of the week)

It would appear my diversification strategy is working against me.  Greg, Jed and myself all have recorded over 20 transactions.  Slothboy?  Only 9.

Hmmm, things were looking good this morning. I was well over 800,000. Then GOOG went down. This was the first day I ended with a loss.
