Madre

August 18, 2006

Been a long couple of weeks. Tired. Talked with a guy from work today about how it feels like no matter how much sleep you get, you just end up tired in the morning and the feeling doesn’t seem to pass. Such was this morning. But we press on.

Much going on in the world right now worthy of discussion, but life focused very narrowly today. Work was set aside. And the simplest of issues was brought forward.  My mom had taken off.  We eventually found her, but she can’t seem to see the light at the end of the tunnel and is far from seeing the positives to all that has happened in the passing weeks.

Please pray for her that she would see God’s hope in all this and trust Him with her many worries. It is heavy stuff indeed, but we know with God’s help she can persevere. Now we just need to convince her that is the case.

Wow, I’ve definitely been in that hopeless place. It really sucks. I will pray for your mother and for your family—may Light, Life, and Hope lift you all out of the mire.
