Heroes 4

October 17, 2006

Hiro rules. Moving on.

So, the opening scene: you’ve got a creepy job anyway, but then you come back to find the wide open dead body _gone_? That’s when you turn in your letter of resignation.

If Vegas harlot doesn’t stop this crap soon, I’m gonna have to give up the show. Seriously. Getting to be a bit much.

What the heck happened to Matt? Did the mysterious black guy get rid of his powers? Erase his memory? The creepy cheerleader dad, just said “Go deep.” No idea what happened, though I’m leaning towards the erase memory thing.

Steph thinks the little Petrelli brother has the power that he absorbs whatever powers are near by him. He could fly because his brother’s around. He had a vision of Hiro because he was near the heroin painter. I don’t buy it. I think it was just Hiro freezing time and coming from the future. Hence the whole scar comment. Clearly Nathan is going to get his butt kicked at some point and is going to have a mark. So what’s the message?

Who do you s’pose is the black shadow chasing Claire? I’m thinking the black mysterious dude that takes orders from her dad.

Peter says that he has power only around others that have power. He drew the future after being with Isaac the first time and he flies around his brother. I think Hiro did intentionally leave him mobile when he stopped time, but that is his gift. Temporary Power Absorption. TPA.

Future Hiro was so badass I can’t even speak. awesome.

I hope Matt (cop) is ok. I like him. I think he will still be alive but who knows what shape he’ll be in.

I almost think that the shadow is either her dad or sylar. (Is sylar the black guy… I don’t quite think so. but maybe)

Save the Cheerleader… Save the world.

    That’s cool.

Ooh. Also. I think the cheerleader has limits to her regeneration ability. The preview showed her in the hospital still injured. Perhaps she used too much “juice” coming back to life the day before so her regen is slower now. Also, why didn’t she just jump out of the car? it would have hurt but she wouldn’t have the risk of getting metal and crap imbedded in her skull.

I don’t think I liked this episode quite as much… Vegas chick needs to start being more super, less slut. And are E and I the only ones who think cute-chick-next-door is a spy? No?
Oh well, the last 30 seconds of the episode justified the rest of it.

oh, the chick who pesters mohinder? yeah, she pulled the trigger on daddy. I’m almost positive.

The problem Vegas has is that she doesn’t have any guidance in the super-realm. As far as she knows she just blacks out for long periods of time and she mostly thinks she is going crazy. And she tried to leave from slut-land but they threatened her son, which invoked the other, who was the one who went back and did the deed.

But which one did they take? “We just need the one.” Was it the congressman or the slut?

Wait, I missed something. When did Peter have a vision of Hiro?

Also, where all have we seen that half DNA helix shape before? Mohinder’s dad had it on his book cover, Nikki has it on her back, where else? Have these people interacted before?

Oh, yeah, his nieghbor/girlfriend totally killed his dad. And, it seems I was wrong in thinking Sylar has TPA, that’s Peter…

Peter hasn’t had a vision of Hiro. Steph thought the last 30 seconds of the episode were Peter having a vision. But since he’s got TPA going on, he can freeze time too… 🙂

And yes, now that y’all put the pieces together, Peter having TPA does make sense.

I’m thinking they took Nathan. A potential congressmen seems like a better target.

    Haven’t noticed the helix shape before… hmmmm…

And why does everyone think the neighbor gal killed or narked on the dad?

Man, the half-of-a-helix thing is freakin’ everywhere… not just tatooed on chicky-babe and on books and whatnot.. I saw it in the floating thingy in the swimmming pool, too, among other places.
I’m not sure if it’s really some bizarre cosmic thingy, or if they’re just trying to steal Lost’s number thing…

Okay, so maybe I am way off, but I think the neighbor chick is too flaky to have killed the dad or to be on the “bad side” for that matter. Something that I have noticed is typical in hero type books/movies/tv shows… Is that the bad guys always seem to know what is going on before the good guys. The good guys seem to be blindly trying to “figure stuff out” while the evil side already knows what’s up and is trying to take over the world or something. Maybe writers do that because making heroes with mistakes makes them more like the viewer, thereby allowing us to relate better? If my theory is right that would put neighbor girl on the good side (for now) unless she is a really good actress and is playing dumb/clueless. Then maybe she is the informer to Cyril or the cheerleader’s dad, but I don’t think she killed anyone.

Tre, I think Sylar has TPA as well. I think that is why he steals brains because he has found a way to make the powers permenantly his.

The Neighboor girl is just too conveniently placed. That’s why I’m suspicious. She was there to help scare off the attacker when Mohinder first met her, she keeps egging him on to follow his father’s research, “here, this package was delivered while you were out.” She could easily be going through his mail and other deliveries. She has immediately inserted herself into mohinder’s life. She seems to initiate every contact. Most importantly, she NEVER questions what mohinder is doing. Wouldn’t you be skeptical if your new neighboor is researching super powers in humans? Sure she had contact with Mohinder’s dad prior to this, but it doesn’t sound like she took much convincing about what he was doing either.

Good point. I still don’t think she killed anyone, but I guess only time will tell.
