Pushing

February 15, 2007

Life’s been a smidge compacted and repetitive lately. Get up, work, lunch, work, come home, dinner, play with girls, put girls to bed, work, go to sleep.

Yes, that’s right, working at night. Why?

Because this month I am working on a gigantic project. Biggest I’ve ever done, and quite possibly, the biggest that the company has ever done. The commision from this project alone is more than my normal monthly base. And I’d love for it to count towards February. Steph understands and is encouraging all along the way, but it doesn’t make it any easier on her, me or the girls. But we push through. Just a couple more months and things will be drastically different.

For those curious what this gigantic project is: I’m drawing the floors for the apartment/condo building for Uptown Oakland Parcel 1

Just remember, if Christopher Walken tries to give you a remote that lets you skip parts of your life in order to get to the end of the project… DON’T TAKE IT!
