Consequences

October 1, 2008

Ellie’s learning about consequences.  It started at nap time.  It continues again now at bedtime.

The last few days Ellie has taken to chucking stuff (blankets, pillow, pacifier, etc.) out of her crib.  We’re getting tired of picking it up.

She is quite fond of her pacifier.  Can’t sleep without it.

Thus a dilemma that she has not resolved yet.

The result this evening, the first of hopefully few, much yelling and screaming because we won’t come in to pick it up.

I love you Kiddo; but either learn to keep it in the crib or learn to sleep without it.  I’m hoping for the latter.
